I can’t tell you anything, anymore,
These nights get hard, but I have something to look for.
I remember us looking at the sky,
I remember just wanting to drown.
I remember wishing we could fly,
Now I just want to fall down.
You own no part,
I can be anything I want to be.
Tired of your endings, I’ll make a start,
Sadly, it won’t be us, just me.
I only tell you little,
Because you’ll feel better with a lie.
But honestly, I only talk to you,
To make sure you’re still alive.
We can’t just stand here,
We can’t be happy alone.
Sadness is lovely company with fear,
When you’re on your own.
If only I could shake these feelings,
Feelings of despair.
If only I could shake these feelings,
The feelings that mean I care.

My emotions can spin,
My heart always goes faint.
I’m making my decisions,
And counting on your restraint.
I hope this holds me back,
I hope you forgive me.
If this wasn’t important,
It wouldn’t mean everything.
Let go your thoughts,
Let your voice sing.
Here we go,
Let me interrupt your dreams.
They said words,
They assured and reassured us.
When we fall,
They said they’d catch us.
Here we come singing,
Here we come calling.
I hope you have your arms held high,
Here we come falling.

Let the water take us away,
As our medals turn to rust.
Sinking, not a single word to say,
Invested, our words are for trust.
I have nothing,
Nothing but you.
I can tell you that just means
That I have everything to lose.
Our fire burns,
The statues crumble.
Your sleep ceases from your turns,
You get up but refuse to stumble.
I never know if this is true,
I whisper I love you.
You turn away,
I wonder what could do.
Finally finding words to say,
But you never wanted to hear them.
I can’t unsay these words,
“I’m not okay.”

Why can’t breathe, anymore,
The song angels sing,
But you still hit the floor.
Try to live,
Give and take.
I can tell it’s not for you,
But everyone else’s sake.
Everyone, please, together.
For we can’t help ourselves.
I’m almost afraid of the next forever,
Because of the Heaven and Hell.
I hear no screaming,
No outward voice.
What happened to the angels singing?
Or the ability of choice..
Please, oh please, pick up your feet.
We are not together,
We can’t carry you.

I’m tired.
This is tearing us apart.
If I could ask for anything,
I’d ask for a new start.
You’re right,
They didn’t mean anything.
Gained my sight,
But, Lord, I cannot see.
Written words,
But you simply cannot read.
What is this?
I’m lying until I’m free’d..
Well, good night..
Hope you find some better rest.
Wake to a fright,
My heart, my love, it’s not all just a test.

We love,
Oh we hate.
Tighter knots so you will suffocate.
Ah, you hide your identity.
You hide your name.
If they knew who you were..
You would never be the same.
“It is all your fault.”
That is what people keep saying.
You write these words.
These words do not speak, they sing.
Think about what you are doing.
Think about everything you have got.
Push your chair away..
Loosen that knot.

Drowning in a lake..
Do I choose to say my last words..?
Or choose that last breath to take..?
Praying for rescue.
In a world so unknown.
Will someone save you?
I wish they’d make themselves shown.
Hope leads to love,
Live into life.
We have a new reason to live.
Put down the pain and the knife.
Your rescuer falls,
It was too much for him to take.
So back you go, back you crawl.
Into your resting place in the lake.
