Hatred And Emotions

DownUp +2

Hatred, sorrow and pain
from it, what can i gain
nothing is worth living for
when all you have is nothing
hate that you are broke
you feel sorrow for yourself
and you only have pain to comfort you
but see the common play
for you it is only you
but for them it is much more
the pain you feel will go away
if you let the world explain
your worth more then you know
but you must let go
of the hatred, sorrow, and pain
from this what can i gain

The Saddest Thing

DownUp +2

The saddest thing in life
is it the death of a friend
the loss of a family member
i say no
i say the saddest thing in life
is what we never we say
we never say i love you as much as we should
we never say im proud of you to show we care
i think we leave these sayings out
to show that we are strong
but my friends
i find us weak
if we cannot express who we are
so the saddest thing in life
is us

A Question Of Love

DownUp +2

What is love my dear
is it the way you make me feel
when i am alone and in your arms
the way your tender lips caress my cheek
or the way your eyes shine in the light
is love what that feels like
or is it something more?
is it something no one has experience
is it so wonderful humans should not be allowed
for do not know what love is
so i never claim to be it
because until the day i have that feeling
do not wish to be in love

A Child

DownUp -1

The baby has arrived
my life has now undone
everything i thought had
will slowly reduce to none
when the thought flows through my head
i can shed not a tear
for the gift that i had always wanted
is worth more then a cheer
my child
my baby
my little being
shall you always know
i will gladly die for you
give up my life for you
to know that you will never hurt
mommy is here my little angel
you see i am no stranger
God gave you to me
so see to it that i keep you safe
and respect his wishes i shall
he has gifted me with you
and for that i owe much more
much more then this world will ever know

The Secret Love Of A Man

DownUp 0

She stands so beautiful and true
her eyes so full of life
my heart flutters as i pass her by
and the thought of walking any further
tends to make my eyes want to cry
she glances in my direction
i nod as a hurried man
but what she does not know
is i would gladly stop the world forever
if it meant she would speak to me
kinds words are whispered in my ear
her lips so soft and full of life
i can only hope one day she will be my wife

The Random Thought

DownUp -1

the random thought of a child
is the one of most uncertainty
their faces seem so wonderful
so full of life
and yet they are so blank to me
i sometimes wonder
are the children the key
do they hold all of the answer to you and me
can they hear the whispers of grown ups
choosing the child’s path
do they know that life is not their own
and that mom and dad have it set in stone
or do they ignore the thought of the absurdity
and paint a picture in their mind
the random thought of a child
how could we all be so blind
