Samantha Brown
She wanted to know
What it felt like
To be grown
And under the spotlight
She wasn’t ready
For all the hate
All the pressure
Under her slate
Nerves and stress
Piled on sky high
She didn’t know what to do
So she said her last goodbye
She wrote a letter
To her family and all
Slit her wrist
And crawled into a ball
Wishing there was a way out
A sign of comfort
A way to take it all back
Someway to make it not hurt
Then an angel fell down
She said, don’t do this
You have family and friends
And you WILL be missed
Samantha gather her will
Tried with all her might
She attempted to stand up
But it was too late in the night
She crawled to the phone
Pressed 9-1-1
Then she died right there
Nothing could be done
Hello are you there?
The telephone spoke
Yet there was no reply
And the angel choked
She tried to help her
She led her to the light
Atleast she’s peaceful
And her souls kept tight
Her family weeps
And tears stream down
They found her note
And read it aloud
Dear mom and dad
Sister you too
I’m sorry I did this
But my life is through
I needed a break
A chance to calm down
Tears broke into hate
And I started to drown
I couldn’t find peace
Without a knife
And that wasn’t a way
Anyone should live their life
I’m sorry I had to make you cry
Save those tears
Think of the good times
Through out my 20 years
Sister I love you so
You were always there
To warm my heart
And hold me near
Dad I’ll miss you the most
Our early fishing trips
Talking late at night
Even our matching pool sticks
Mommy dear do not cry
Don’t stay up all night
Thinking of me just think of my smile
And how it shined so bright
Friends and family
I didn’t forget you
You can take a memorial
Just dont take two
I love you all
And you will be missed
Just don’t weep too much
And don’t be pissed
At the bottom signed
Nice and bright
Samantha brown
With a heart in white
