Missing You Poems

If I could drink away my pain
To hide away my sorrows
If I could bring you back again
I would do it by tomorrow
If I could travel everywhere
To find out where you’ve gone
Would I even find you there
Or find that I’m alone
If I could grasp you by the hand
To stop your deadly fall
Then maybe I could understand
Why you even died at all
If I could ever have a dream
A wish that would come true
Then it would be that the grass stayed green
And I was there with you
But those times have been and gone
When you were here to stay
And now I’m sad and all alone
Since you passed away
Everyday I feel you near
And not a day goes by
That the memory of a friend so dear
Brings tears to my eyes.

I remember how you looked on the day I said goodbye.
Was it just a trick of light, or a tear glint in your eye?
Since the day I had to leave can’t shake this melancholy.
Now my tears join the raindrops as the heaven cries with me.
All the beauty of the springtime can’t replace your shining smile,
And the distance between us makes me wish that I could fly.
Without you I’m half alive left my vital part with you,
And it tears my heart apart that I can not be with you.
In the circle of your arms is the place I want to be,
In my dreams I see your face and you always smile at me.
There are no words adequate to describe my love for you,
So until we meet again I will promise I’ll be true.

I think of you every night and day,
Today I didn’t think of you but I though it was alright
I had a lot of things to do,
But I couldn’t move on, on my life
You hurt me when I dream of you,
The only time I couldn’t control my mine is I’m dreaming of you,
I just want to say strait from my heart,
I miss you

Why did you have to drink those drinks, those drinks that made you die
Now your dead and there’s nothing I can do but cry
I think of you and pray you’d come back to life
I pray I could see you just once more, every night
Every night I go to bed and kiss your picture goodnight
I wish you were here right now I would hold you so tight
But your not and you’ll never be here again
Why’d I let you go out that night if I didn‘t you would still be here
But now your not your dead and its not going to change
I loved you with all my heart
and my heart isn’t to love again
its not over for me ill always remember you
remember ur love and care
its never going to leave me

Have you ever bothered to realize
how much you mean to me?
I care so much for you inside
and miss you so deeply.
My mind is always curious about
the way things might have been.
As days go by and time goes by,
I look back once again.
All the time I held you in my arms,
I had the whole world right there.
There you were, comforting me with
all of your charms.
Every little kiss from you
was like a dream come true.
This love that I have inside my heart,
it all belonged to you!
It’s funny, all those little things
I never thought I’d miss,
Like all those conversations we had,
or the first time we kissed.
I guess that what I’m trying to say,
is I miss and love you more each day!
It hurts me not to see you,
or not to know if you’re ok.
I want you to understand
that I loved you from the start.
And I want you to know,
no matter how many miles
we may be apart,
you’ll always hold a special place
in my heart.

Paint the town with amber and orange,
Fire’d never shown me the mercy I need.
We’ve gone too far,
This place is now our home.
Stab with the knife, don’t forget to twist,
A cut never gave me the satisfaction I need.
Should’ve known he went too far,
The ground shall be his home.
Build bridges of stone over rivers of air,
A sure way down’s what I’ll always need.
It’s the way I’ve headed so far,
But you say it’s not my home.
Now look away with your sapphire eyes,
Solace from everything good’s what I need.
Good things only take you so far,
Bad things take you all the way home.
Swing with hammer, you’re building your life,
But simple nails and boards never gave me the security I need.
When you drive them so damn far,
It gets tougher to bring them back home.
Throw all of love’s falsities away,
I’d like to say I’m all that you need.
But when you wake in the morning I’ll be so far,
And the only place I’ll never be is home.

To several hundreds of kilometers
Your voice can give heat me just as a sun
And I feel like a harmonic change
It is composing a song in my interior
I know I do not sound logical
But I’ll never forget your magical perfume
And in our telephone encounter
I have remembered that I am crazy in love for you
I know the world fits in the telephone
That there are no great distances for our love
That everything is perfect when I feel to you
So close even though you are so far
To several hundreds of kilometers
My pain has a secret to tell you
As soon as you hang up the telephone
I will be missing you the first second
I know the world fits in the telephone
That there are no great distances for our love
That everything is perfect when I feel to you
So close even though you are so far
