Friendship Poems

Dimples

DownUp +4

Out in the country.
Where life is so simple.
Lives a girl with the prettiest dimples.

All decked out in sundress and sandals.
Wearing a smile so broad and wide.
Brightening up the countryside.

Always happy and sunny.
Nice personality, cute, and funny.
Always a pleasure to be around.
Cutest freckles and reddest hair.
In this small rural town.

You Won’t See Me

DownUp +24

You won’t see me happy.
You won’t see me sad.
You won’t see me depress.
You won’t see me mad.
You won’t see me smile.
You won’t see me act wild.
You won’t see me live.
You won’t see me die.
You won’t see me bleed.
You won’t see me leave.
You won’t see me sit.
You won’t see me stand.
You won’t see me fly.
you won’t see me land.
You won’t seem love.
You won’t see me hate.
I won’t be early.
I won’t be late.
You won’t see me never again you won’t see me yo best friend.

Feelings of Losing a Friend

DownUp +41

Look in the mirror and try to see
is this what you want to be
not talking or being around you make me feel dark
because you was my best friend and my heart
i wish everything i said and done was undone
because you know you was number one
everytime i said i was sorry you pushed me away so theirs nothing i can do
i hope you can forgive and always remember that i always love you
but i need to wake up and stop with all my pretend
and realize you dont want to be my friend
i just wish we had a fresh start
because i hate not talking to you and being apart
i hope someday you see that the way you are now is just not right
and try to change back to how you were and not give up without a fight.

Friends til’ the end

DownUp +11

Dry your tears,
Tell me all your fears
Lets go outside where it is raining,
Then you can tell me about all the pain
Your heart is so cold,
Your story is better left untold
You are so strong,
Even when everything is so wrong,
Where you even forget the lyrics to your own song,
And no one wants to sing along,
well I’ll be there to help through all this crap
Everyday someone new tells me
How you’re a depressed person,
And you don’t care about anything,
And how you’re the worst one to hang around
They’re wrong though, you’re more than that, you’re a wonderful
Funny friend, that clearly needs help,
So Always remember,
No matter what you do I can never
Think less of you,
Because you’re the only person I
ever want to be friends with.

Friends 4ever

DownUp +20

—written with a pen—
and
—sealed with a kiss?—
If you are my friend, answer me this:
Are we friends, or are we not?
you told me once, but i forgot
so tell me now and tell me true
so i can say I’m here for you
of all the friends I’ve ever met,
you’re the one i won’t forget
and if i die before you do,
I’ll go to heaven and wait for you
I’ll give the angels back their wings
and risk the loss of everything
there isn’t a thing i wouldn’t do
to have a friend just like you :)

Mates Till The End

DownUp +1

Friends
It’s not that hard to forget
What we been through
But you stuck by me
And I stuck by you

We’d laugh until we couldn’t stop
We’d cry and then dust
Our shoulders off

You’re my friend, and I’m yours
I’d be walking and you be
Opening doors
You be running, and I’d be
Turning you around
Saying ‘girl calm down’

You were worried about me
Thinking that I would freak out
At something that shouldn’t be
At first I was shocked to say at least
But my mood went in a hurry

Sometimes I can be mad
And not wanna talk to you
But you stand by
And ask me why I’m so blue
I promise that I will do the same for you

I remember one time on MSN
I started the conversation
With a joke again
You said nothing, and I was worried
‘Cause normally you laugh
And then say it wasn’t that funny

I asked you what happened
But you said nothing
I knew you were lying
So I kept on going

After a little while
You told me the truth
I just wanted to hug you
But I couldn’t
You were to far away

We changed the subject
And I soon had you laughing
I was happy ‘cause
You weren’t crying

I’LL make sure that, you don’t cry
Anymore.
