I hate the hell you put me through

I hate the pain I felt
I feel. . .

I hate the bruises you left
I hate the sad tears you gave me

I hate the thoughts of death. . .of dieing

I hate the nightmares
I hate the daydreams

I hate how you make me feel
I hate being scared

I hate how I can’t trust
I can’t love

I hate suffering everyday
I hate living

. . . but I forgive you

I forgive you for putting me through hell

I forgive all the pain you given me

I forgive the bruises that you have left

I forgive you for the thoughts of suicide

I forgive you for the painful dreams

I forgive you for how you made me feel

I forgive you for taking away my trust and love

I forgive you for making me suffer

I forgive you because I am not you
I am better
I am stronger
And I will learn from your mistakes . . .

I am only a child 13 years old
I try to do exactly as Im told
Even though life is hard I try to give it my all
School is hard that is a fact
But we have to struggle to learn that
Low and high it’s all close by
That why we all have to go twice as high

Everyone will learn that to soar you have to fly
