Forgotten

DownUp +4

Such a day of happiness
This days supposed to be
A day to remember my birth
A day thats just for me

But thats all today turned out to be
A day thats just for me
For the people that i thought were close
Forgot my history

They forgot this was my birthday
All i wanted was one thing
For them to celebrate my birth
No presents they have to bring

Just to be present and happy
Happy that I’m 12 years old
Does this mean nobody’s happy I’m here?
How could they all be so cold

Its only one day to remember
It’s not like I’m asking a lot
I wouldn’t even care about the flavor of cake
Or anything that i got

No chocolate, No Gadget, No Gizmo’s
None of these i would rate first
There was only one thing that I Wanted
YOU celebrating the day of my birth

My Birthday Never Remember

DownUp 0

Im at home on my birthday
but I’m not going to stay.
No matter how much I pray,
my family never remembers my birthday.
I turned eighteen.
I may be just a teen
but now that I’m older,
I am much more wiser.
I was watching t.v,
with my family.
Watching some game show.
The volume was on low,
when my dad asked me,
if I planted that apple tree.
I hadn’t but said I had.
He knew I was lying but didn’t get mad.
He asked me to step out back
and move the wood stack.
This was obviouse punishment.
In my mind this was mistreatment.
I declared I have had enough.
Living here is just too rough.
So I packed my stuff.
I didn’t need family I’m tough.
Just as I started to leave,
wouldn’t you believe,
when you think thier is no more you can take,
my family came walking out with a cake.

Happiest 19th Birthday

DownUp 0

I remember when we were first friends
Catching buses across town just to hang out
At the tender ages of thirteen
Thinking we knew what life was all about.

We partied and we had our differences
Through it all we never lost touch
At times like this I am reminiscing back
Didn’t those moments mean so much?

I’ll cherish those memories always
As times so quickly pass us by
Your smile hasn’t changed a bit
Nor has that glisten in your eye.

Together we have faced some trials
We have grown together as a team
And after all that has been said and done
We’ve never let anything come in between.

Over the years we’ve become so much closer
Your more of a baby sister to me
I’m so proud of the woman you are today
I wish your every happiness comes to be.

Today your turning nineteen
In a way I’m lost for words to say
But I believe in you and your dreams coming true
Have the Happiest 19th Birthday!

My Best Teacher

DownUp 0

He is very intellectual, bears a sharp mind
Ask any question, you’ll never have a denial
I’ve always seen him smiling
And never wish to see his rile
He has got the best teaching style
Don’t believe? Just go and have a trial
It’s his birthday, I want to wish
But I don’t have his number to dial
So I thought to send a verse because
It’s the best way for the wishes to compile

Happy Birthday Lance

DownUp 0

Happy Birthday Lance! Your 31!
I hope your day goes well.
Your up in the Heaven’s now,
No longer living this hell.

Your little girl is growing up,
Missing you every day.
I wish I could talk to you,
I have so much to say.

Your mom is holding up real good,
Since you left, its been ruff.
Dealing with the loss of a child,
For anyone, would be tuff.

Your sister had the baby finally,
A healthy little boy.
You would have been crazy over him,
He is such a joy.

Life here hasn’t been the same,
Since the Lord called you home.
Happy Birthday, my dear Lance,
In the Heaven’s may you forever roam.

Birthday Wishes

DownUp -1

To you a very special person on this your birthday,
The best of everything and your wishes come true,
May you never be left alone to celebrate on this day,
To bring joy to you, for being you in so many ways,

Making this your day special is an honor that I cherish,
To make you smile, make you laugh, make you cry for joy,
Sharing with you, making memories on this your birthday,
Looking forward to celebrating many more to come with you,

Beauty and wisdom comes with the passage of time they say,
But Darling there is no one as beautiful, vibrant and loving as you,
Age is irrelevant for there is no one as special to me as you are,
If only to have spent the birthdays of your past just being with you,

So to you my Darling Bonnie Kay on this your birthday I give to you,
All the happiness, joy, beauty, passion, kindness, peace, spiritually,
And may these be ever so abundant in your life from now and evermore,
Most of all, I give to you with honor my undying devotion and all my love..

Happy Birthday Darling

Happy Birthday Mrs. Fourteen

DownUp 0

So today you turn fourteen,
What a scary thought.
Since that age I’ve defiantly learned alot.
Sometimes I wish I could
go back to being fourteen,
I remember exactly what I
was thinking at my
14th Birthday scene.

I remember dreaming
of owning my own car,
Imagining my 1st kiss,
finishing school or
even hitting up a bar.
I remember hating the taste of coffee,
Now I’m addicted to caffeine.
I remember thinking my
younger sister was the most
annoying girl around,
But also admiring her boldness
from behind her frown.

I’ll never forget thinking what
she’ll be like when she learns
of her beauty inside.
How her greatest gift was easy to see,
When she knows it, she’ll learn
of the strength it will provide.

So.. Today’s your Birthday,
spend it all on you.
Eat all the cake you want-
its the one day you have an excuse to.

But if theres any advice I can
give you on your special day,
Is that anytime things are tough,
I’ve been there, dont be afraid to pray.
These next couple years
are going to be your best,
Your going to learn so much
about life, love and yourself,
You’ll be put to the test.
Don’t ever forget of the power
you’ve learned to possess.
Enjoy every second of drama
and having no bills to pay,
It seems so simple but the
older you get the bills triple
and the drama never goes away.

Now that I’m almost
nineteen this I must advise,
That you never forget who you are,
have the most fun you can and never compromise.
I’m here if you need it,
but I’m sure you’ll be fine.
Just imagine this, when I was
14 you were only 9.
Think of the last 5 years
and how fast they’ve come,
How much you’ve changed
How much you’ve done.
Take it all and embrace your teens,
“Happy Birthday Mrs. Fourteen!”
