Mom,
I know your scared.
Everyone has a fear.
Yet, you hide that pain
and don’t shed a tear.
You do that for us.
You bottle it in
and your forced to cuss.
Don’t keep it in.
It will mess you up.
Life’ll have you pinned.
Your not alone, being sad.
The families here with you,
we all miss dad.
He is the greatest man,
life will ever show me.
Better than in fairy land.
His life was just long enough.
He gave us lots of love,
even bought us alot of stuff.
Materials don’t matter.
You need that LOVE,
without it you’d be a tatter.
I guess what I’m trying to say,
Even though he lays his head.
His spirit’s here to stay,
in our hearts forever more.
Our life is far from over.
There’s alot left in store.
Just open your eyes,
don’t be scared.
Just be ready for a surprise.
