I Long For You

i reach for you in the dark,
to only find that im alone.
my deepest feelings,
are my thoughts that go unshown.
i only dream of waking up with you by my side ,
for life is a tour,
and you are my guide.
im like a child,
i need you to hold,
my hand and show me the way.
and be able to fall asleep in your arms,
at the end of the day.
