In Every dusk I Want to Write Poetry
I want to greet you, in every age. before dusk turning off the light to dark. before I became last.
if I changed the echo, the voice remains. voice resound. from the depths of the soul. aching soul.a poignant love and longing.
poetry, like the shadows of the panhandle. in dim light, I draw the shadow of the dream itself.
what should be spelled out of the shadows? once I had drawn the bat on the wall. shadows in the light attached to the wall.
bats emerging from the dark caves. into my childhood dreams. childhood which was theshadow on the wall. dim light of kerosene lamps
poetic shadows flapping wings. of the cave is dark and musty. screaming in my head.
I want to greet you, with a thousand shadows, I had drawn a little light. this evening.
a bat, looming in the poem, screaming in my head. through the dark. through the night.
