Goodbye to the Sea

DownUp +36

Where would I go,
Where would I row,
If my sea is captured by them?
How will I bequeath,
The place where I breathe,
But say who I am to condemn?

Where would I sleep,
I can’t even weep,
As it is not under my control,
How will I live,
With an unyielding motive,
Knowing that my home’s now a hole?

It is hard to think,
To break up the link,
That was formed years ago,
Time passes by,
And we have to say goodbye,
The time we depart,
the time we have to go.
